Ink on papers did make tears flow
Sweet and sad words once made our hearts melt
The feelings within boiled like lava,
they just could not burn us so open
We’re here now, knowing love has never been more sour
We played rough but we never broke bones
We loved softly and then we got our hearts broken
Our thoughts screamed of a perfect us
“Unbreakable bonds setting sail for unsinkable dreams”
Naive us; we were just another Titanic
Awoken from my deathlike slumber,
reality having broken down my strong walls,
from within the dust, I rise, dying to the life I’ve grown to know
the devil I had cursed and kept out,
turns out to be the goddess I should have served
Those million implosions within my cold but tender heart,
with ruins enough to bury the earth,
have set the seas ablaze beneath a frozen sun
Having judged harshly without a trial,
I hope the flames warm me up as I drown in this
Great One!

Nice piece
Nice
Staggering!
Absolutely staggering!!
If I keep reading poetry like this, I’m afraid I might stop wishing death upon love.
Great
