The only male child of his mother,
lost daddy to a storm at sea,
leaving mommy as the bread winner;
alas, with a failing health.
Efforts falling short of enough,
predators begin to lurk.
Seeking to exploit the plights.
Depression sets in for a pondering son;
with inability to support an ailing mother
Taking the bull by the horn,
he ventures into the streets to begin the hustle;
Returning with little or next to nothing.
Shunning the pleas of his scared sisters
and the tears of his dying mother, he hustles on.
With hope slipping away,
sighted the fastest of lanes.
One robbery, home got better.
Tossed morals into the seas,
drowned in the joy of an evil act.
One raid too many,
luck left him sorry.
Justice snaps him out of it;
albeit rather too late,
his end is here.
Mother’s heart shattered,
Sisters weep.
When justice fails to forgive,
emotions wake up to reality,
Who’ll bear the burden now?
The boy is also to blame for choosing crime to make money, when he could’ve been a little patient.
But in all it’s for his family, it’s called Bravery.
